Collaborating by creating groups

Any user, both admin and non-admins, can create a group. You can invite other Starboard users to join your group from any organisation including your own. Existing Starboard users will receive an email request to join the group and can log in with their existing account.

Sharing your analysis

Any view in Starboard, whether it’s your carefully filtered map, vessel lists, or vessel reports, is referenced in the URL (web address). Sharing this unique URL with another Starboard user means they will see what you're seeing.

Simply copy the URL and share it as a link.

Try it out: See the exact view above including the date and vessel selections.

Tip: You can direct others to a specific section in the vessel or companies report by clicking on the section titles.

This only works for Starboard users but you can export and share vessel reports with non-users of Starboard.

Tagging vessels

Vessels can be tagged to create lists of vessels and fleets that your organisation needs to keep track of, and these are available to all users in your organisation. Likewise, tags can be created and assigned within groups, and these are available to the members of the group. Notes can be added to tags on vessels, to share more information and at times it might be useful to share a URL of your analysis in the notes.
