Starboard uses vessel movement history, algorithms and machine learning to analyse arriving vessels and highlight which vessels are high risk.

Currently, arriving vessels are assessed for certain biosecurity threats.

In the ‘Hitchhiker pest risk’ analysis type vessels are coloured dark blue and red in relation to their relative risk profile for Flighted Spongy Moth Complex (FSMC) and BMSB (brown marmorated stink bug).
