Every vessel is given a risk rating, which is a combined output of our risk assessments for Flighted Spongy Moth Complex (FSMC) and BMSB (brown marmorated stink bug).

  1. Using the filters you can choose the Hitchhiker pest risk analysis.

  2. To help focus on vessels entering your EEZ you can select those that have entered from a foreign port.

Try it out: See a vessel arriving from overseas into the New Zealand EEZ with a risk of hitchhiker pests on board and their relevant port visits.

Vessels are coloured dark blue and red in relation to their relative risk profile for Flighted Spongy Moth Complex (FSMC) and BMSB (brown marmorated stink bug).
