Starboard ingests SAR data and combines this with AIS data for dark vessel detection.

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is one of the most commonly used satellite data sources for maritime domain awareness. It has reasonable coverage and latency.

Try it out: See dark vessels detected during four consecutive Copernicus Sentinel-1 collections, covering an area over 175,000 km², near the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

Starboard can also ingest other sources of satellite data and detections and information from your on-water and aerial assets.
